With cracks and grooves

Your manful posture

So tall

And powerful branch crown

I connect to your broad and deep roots

I cling to your trunk and hold your arms

So open and inviting

I feel safe

I kiss your scars

Tears come and I release the tension

I soften when you make me feel

So loved and held

You invite me to climb higher

You do not rush me

We just stay silent

We go slow

Our bodies rub against each other

Tenderness is flowing over the edges

We cuddle and nestle

Having all the time in the world
